Hello incredible Bullfrogs! It's Mr. D.! I'm just checking up on you to make sure you are taking every step to improve your health and fitness levels. This was a fantastic year in physical education. Not only did you learn new concepts, but you improved your fitness to new heights.
It's extremely important to maintain that healthy life-style over the summer. Here are a few recommendations as to how you can improve your fitness over the summer.
1. Go swimming! Swimming is an incredible cardio-vascular exercise. It's also a great way to cool off on a hot day!
2. After dinner family walks. Encourage mom and dad to take a stroll aroud the block after dinner. This is an excellent way to burn off some calories and bond with the family. Usually it's a little cooler at night as well.
3. Boogie boarding / Body Surfing - If you make it to the beach this summer attempt to do some boogie boarding or body surfing. Make sure mom and dad are with you during this awesome experience! These activities are excellent for improving you cardiovascular endurance as well.
I look forward to seeing all of our healthy Bullfrogs in late August! Be ready and fit for the first day of PE!
